Thanks to all the folks who made it out to Nosworthy’s on Tuesday night, to help raise funds for Marty Camminelli and his wife, April. As most know, she is battling cancer, and the hospital bills are stacking up. Marty is selling off everything to pay the bills, and any support we can show him will be a huge blessing. Over $16,000 were raised all for the Caminelli family, with a huge thanks to Dale Nosworthy for being the host. The auction and raffle were a big success with so much money raised.
You can stop by Shooters Supply (directions), behind the Home Depot on Government way to make any donations.
Thanks Marty, for being such a huge supporter of the Second Amendment and the Friends of NRA! We’re keeping you and your family in our prayers

This Tuesday, be sure to cast your vote for Anita Banta for City Council!
Anita Banta was born in Minneapolis, and is second generation from Finland and Norway. She is married to Robert, and together they have two boys, 8 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Anita volunteers for several organizations, including the National Rifle Association (NRA) and VFW Post 889 Auxiliary. In addition, she teaches Hunter Education classes.
Anita believes that the most important responsibility of the city is the safety of its citizens. This means that there needs to be adequate funding, staffing, and equipment for our Police, Fire, Streets, etc.
Anita would like to retain the small town feel of Coeur d’Alene, and retain the natural beauty of our area. She feels that development, if it is done properly, is good and necessary but it has to be balanced with the normal patterns of population and job creation. Anita would like to see the city retain its flow of methodical growth.

Here is a photo of Rob from the Friends of NRA Comittee and David Lepitech of the Idaho Fish and Game. Rob presented the IFG a check for $10,000 at a senoir breakfast a couple weeks ago. This check is going toward the development of the new shooting range developments, that David will be overseeing.
What you don’t see in this photo are the rest of the Friends of NRA comittee that are to the right, and a few more of the IFG guys to the left.
Once again here’s proof of what the Friends of NRA are doing in our comunity to help encourage shooting, protect our heritage, and give back to the community. Thank you Lake Country for helping us make this possible!
